Wow! Jordan and I had a great time making dinner together, and dinner was De-li-cious!! We tried a new recipe called Bacon-Tomato Bagel Melts.- 2 bagels, split and toasted (We bought Jalepeno Bagels - Yum Yum!)
- 8 tomato slices
- 8 cooked bacon strips
- 4 ounces of mozzarella cheese
Place bagel halves cut side up on a baking sheet. Top each half with two tomato slices and two bacon strips. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 4-6 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until cheese begins to brown. Serve with ranch dressing.
Jordan was already planning the next time we make these! "We could use ham, or sausage, or pepperoni!", he said. "We could add some veggie, you know, whatever we have in the fridge. Then top the cheese with olives!!" I love it when we cook together, and he is so much more creative in the kitchen than I am.
